Venue

The event will take place at the Salle Académique on the 4th floor of the building of the Faculty of Computer Science at the University of Namur.

Getting there

  • By train: The University is less than 10 minutes from the Namur station.
    • At Namur Station, go out: If you left the station through the pedestrian subway, you already crossed the street. Else, cross the street (Bd Melot) at the lights in front of the station. After crossing continue to the right.
    • Turn left just before the car tunnel.
    • Cross the rue de Bruxelles at the traffic lights and go straight in Rempart de la Vierge, along the park.
    • An entrance on your left is marked “Faculte de Droit”; enter it, cross the parking lot, go down the street (rue Grandgagnage) a bit.
    • Enter the Faculty of Informatics.
    • take the lift hidden on your left, go to 4th floor.
  • By car:
    • Leave the E411 at exit number 13 “Bouge-Champion”.
    • Go down to “Namur”.
    • After 2 km, and a steep descent, turn right at a big roundabout (Sq. Léopold) to “Gare”.
    • You will then pass the train station by.
    • Take the next tunnel and cross the bridge over the river Sambre
    • Carry on until you reach Place Wiertz (the square with a roundabout and a statue of King Leopold II)
    • Take the round-about and leave it to the left (Avenue Reine Astrid)
    • Take the first one-way street on the left again (Rue Henri Lemaître)
    • Carry on till you see the FUNDP’s guests parking
    • Leave your car over there. Take a parking permit in the box that is at the entrance of the covered hall marked “Région Wallonne” and put it visibly in your car.
    • Walk back and cross the pedestrian bridge
    • Go straight to Rue Bruno
    • At next crossing take left to Rue Grandgagnage
    • At your right, take the entrance of the building arching over the street.
    • take the lift hidden on your left, go to 4th floor.
