SODAS est un projet européen, supervisé par Eurostat.

Le but de ce projet est de faciliter l'utilisation des techniques d'analyse de données symboliques dans les entreprises et les offices statistiques, et de démontrer ainsi que ces techniques répondent aux besoins des utilisteurs. Cet objectif sera réalisé par la création d'un logiciel prototype qui sera évalué par des benchmarks proposés par des offices de statistique.

Notre travail concerne principalement la représentation graphique des données symboliques , l'édition des objets symboliques ainsi que l'ergonomie de l'interface générale du prototype.

SODAS is a European project, supervised by Eurostat.

The aim of this project is to make easier the use of symbolic data analysis techniques in statistical offices and companies, and consequently demonstrate that these techniques meet several users needs. This will be achieved by designing a software prototype which will be assessed by benchmarks proposed by statistical offices.

Our work is mainly concern with the graphical representation of symbolic data, the edition of symbolic objects and with the style guide for the general interface of the prototype.
